Terms of Use

Fixie Professional Diagnostics — last revised April 26, 2026.

Use Safely

Use Fixie with the vehicle parked unless you are using a passenger-operated or driver-safe display. Do not perform repairs, coding, or clearing while driving.

Diagnostic Guidance

Fixie explains what the vehicle reports and gives likely repair paths. It is not a substitute for hands-on diagnosis, service manuals, recalls, or a qualified technician when safety systems are involved.

Clearing Codes

Clearing codes can reset readiness monitors and may hide symptoms until the fault returns. Fixie verifies clears when the vehicle allows it and tells you when a code remains.

Service Functions

Some service functions require security access or a specific vehicle setup. If a module refuses access, Fixie says so instead of pretending the action worked.

Purchases

The first App Store build keeps core diagnostics free. Fixie Pro purchase hooks are present but disabled unless the build enables them.

Warranty & Liability

Fixie is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixieScanner is not liable for vehicle damage, repair costs, or losses arising from use of diagnostic information. You are responsible for confirming any repair decision with a qualified professional.
